The trip was fun - the Brookdale Lodge was crazy and the Valerie Project was amazing. Beach bumming in Santa Cruz and Big Basin camping were nice.

The Lodge- so supposedly it is haunted- it is definitely really old, rundown, somewhat scary, but beautiful in a weird way.

Oh, and check this out, I think it was in Felton, a sweet van. Look closely, and you can see a glowing cross sending lighting bolts into the solar system. And some comets, of course. I think crystals are sold from this van.

Looking forward to this weekend- leaving work early to head out to the Santa Cruz Mountains. We're staying at the Brookdale Lodge to see the Valerie Project that night. Next night camping in Big Basin. The weather is supposed to be super nice....I am hoping to take a day trip to the Santa Cruz boardwalk; I've always wanted to see where they filmed Lost Boys...
